Blue-Stream Services Provides Temporary Generator Power for the 2008 Voodoo Music Experience
The Voodoo Music Experience, one of the premier music events for the Gulf Coast, was held in October, 2008 at City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana.
To support an outdoor event of this magnitude, Blue-Stream Services was contracted for the second consecutive year to provide temporary power and climate control services. Blue-Stream also was charged with providing utility technical support for the event. In total, Blue-Stream provided over 3.5MW of rental generator power, along with several miles of electrical cable and numerous electrical distribution panels.
Following the event, management officials from The Voodoo Music Experience commented that Blue-Stream Services' flawless performance far exceeded all expectations. Just as in 2007, the 2008 event was a huge success for both the Voodoo Music Experience and Blue-Stream Services.
